After we requested this query initially of the season, the responses got here pouring in. We heard from present-day teenagers streaming their anthems on repeat, and we heard from listeners who’ve been with their companions for over 50 years. There have been tales of jazz and rap, adrenaline rushes and loneliness, and lots of classes in issues of the center. (“Do not let your folks select your boyfriends,” Amy from St. Louis stated.)
On our season finale, we share extra of those songs and tales. Then, we fast-forward to an essay concerning the finish of affection. After greater than 50 years of marriage, Tina Welling determined that she needed a divorce — a call that turned out to be liberating.
