Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has appealed to the individuals of Delhi to take care of peace, and stated neither the Hindus nor the Muslims benefited from the violence within the northeastern a part of the nationwide capital. Addressing the meeting on the difficulty, he stated political components and outsiders have been liable for the clashes through which 23 individuals, together with a police constable, have been killed.
“Everyone has suffered losses in the riots. Over 20 have been killed. Hindus and Muslims have died in the riots. The police were also killed. I also have a list of the injured. Hindus and Muslims both have been injured, both are suffering,” he stated.
“Delhi now has two options: Either people can come together and help make the situation better or they can hit and kill one another. Modern Delhi cannot be built on a pile of bodies. Enough is enough. Politics of hate, of riots, of burning homes won’t be tolerated,” he added.
Mr Kejriwal demanded that the Military be known as in to manage the state of affairs and curfew needs to be imposed in violence-hit areas.
“Leave the violence behind. Inform the police if outsiders are coming in to destroy peace in your area,” he appealed to the individuals of Delhi.
