Kanye West has netted $2.2 million in gross sales since saying that his forthcoming album, “Donda 2,” will solely be accessible by means of his personal music participant.
The “All of the Lights” rapper shared in an Instagram publish Saturday his purported gross sales since revealing a day earlier that he would launch the document solely with the acquisition of his $200 “Stem Participant.”
“We have made $2,227,012.05 in 24 hours,” West wrote. “God is nice Thanks guys for taking this journey.”
His Stem Participant lets customers “customise any track,” based on its sale web page.
West introduced this week that he was shunning providers like Spotify, Amazon, Youtube, and Apple for being unfair to artists.
“It is time to free music from this oppressive system. It is time to take management and construct our personal,” he stated.
