Fb censors Marsha Blackburn’s publish about girls’s sports activities

Social media big Fb has censored a publish shared by Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., after she spoke out in opposition to organic males competing in girls’s sports activities.

“Organic males haven’t any place in girls’s sports activities,” Blackburn wrote, linking to a donation web page that referred to as on conservatives to “combat again in opposition to Massive Tech censorship.”

The publish, which was shared to Blackburn’s private Fb web page that has almost 150,000 followers, was eliminated, based on Fb, for violating “group requirements on hate speech.”

“Your publish did not comply with our Group Requirements on hate speech,” Fb wrote in an alert to Blackburn. “Nobody else can see your publish.”

In an announcement to Fox Information Digital relating to the censorship of the publish, Blackburn stated she refuses to be “silenced or threatened by Silicon Valley oligarchs.”

“Massive Tech and the Democrats are colluding to radically rework America,” Blackburn stated. “They need to silence and censor conservatives for talking out in opposition to their woke agenda. It doesn’t take a biologist to know the distinction between a person and a girl, and I cannot be silenced or threatened by Silicon Valley oligarchs. Organic males haven’t any place in girls’s sports activities.”

Blackburn, who garnered consideration in March after she requested future Supreme Courtroom Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson to “present a definition for the phrase girl,” has been a vocal supporter of defending feminine sports activities in America and has repeatedly spoken out in opposition to organic males competing in them .

In an effort to spotlight the issues surrounding feminine sports activities permitting organic males to compete, Blackburn interviewed Kentucky swimmer Riley Gaines, who tied with transgender swimmer Lia Thomas for fifth place within the 200-yard freestyle NCAA swimming championships in April on the “Unmuted with Marsha ” podcast.

Since taking workplace, Blackburn has opposed censorship in all types from Massive Tech firms like Fb and Twitter.

Blackburn wrote a letter in July to President Biden slamming his administration’s collaboration with Fb to rid the platform of COVID-19 vaccine “misinformation” and suggesting the work might violate the First Modification.

“These revelations are deeply regarding,” the Tennessee Republican wrote within the letter. “The blatant actions by your administration to work with Massive Tech firms to censor People’ free speech are stunning — and arguably a violation of the First Modification.”
